Any recommendations for wallets? I carry mine all the time in my front pocket, and am finding its really hard on my cards. Have a typical leather wallet that carries my plastic along with some cash.

@fredweisg It fairly easy to do yourself, they’re just held in by metal strips underneath. Just blow them out really well before you start pulling the strips.

2 loads of durum went to the elevator yesterday. One right after the other in line. Both from the same field and same hopper bin. First load grades #1 Second load grades #3. Make that make sense.

@farmerjim79 I was thinking the same when he showed up. 4th salesman since 2019 I think. He told me the upper management has cut them back on new combines. For every 30 new ones they sell they have to move 250 used ones.

So a new Green and Yellow guy came by the yard. I wasn’t home. No problem. Not sure if I’d have told him he’s #7 in 20 years or that they don’t really carry the type of inventory I’m interested in.

A weird question about Deere 1910 tanks. Is it possible to run a TBT and TBH through 1 VT and have them both run prescription files from potentially 6 bins?

@mocornfarmer I had to order one of the shafts as well. It’s coming from a dealer two provinces over. I think it was the only one they had in the dealer network.

@JD57728814 Apparently there needs to be a slip clutch there. Twisted the shaft off. $700 part that have 4 on backorder. Guess im going to bend over and buy a gearbox

Kind of a longshot, but does anyone know of any salvage yards that might have parts for a 6xxFD. Im really trying to avoid buying a 8k gear box for one part

@mocornfarmer Did the splines strip on the feed drum input gear inside the gear box ? Happened to me a few days ago on 2017 645FD. They found the gear at another dealer somewhere in North America. Still waiting for it. They wanted 6k cdn for gearbox.

@tetrje Can I ask what it’s being pushed to up there ? Investment company here has land up for renewal, they’re asking for $145. Which is $15-20 more than the previous tenant was paying the last five years. Seems absolutely crazy.

land rent is being pushed in the area again. had a landlord push it up this spring and now he's being courted by another interested party. we all know who it is and i am sad that this huge farm needs to do that. greed has no end.

@farmerjim79 I always wondered how some of em did it. Then I found out alot have either outside editing or someone else in the business/farm does editing and the merch part. Then it makes sense how they get such good content. And I’m trying to do it all myself. 😂

Plenty of YouTube Ag content that hasn’t morphed into content creation using an Ag story out there. In general, multi generation and multiple employees in these farm operations. Even outside editing. Failing to realize that the top creators have developed that as a business

@bradschneider8 Early spring has worked well for us but if time and weather permits fall is preferred.

Authority ahead of peas do in spring or the fall ahead. Leaning towards fall due to we felt did not activate very good this spring or kochia is resistant (scary). Rather get half then none it seemed like this year.
