Went to the shelter looking for a smaller doggo. Due to a clerical error this guy was brought into the room, where he climbed in my lap and fell asleep. They came back and said “that’s the wrong dog, we can take him back.” “This is my dog now. We are going home.” Found as a stray right after the 4th of July. Can tell he had definitely been abused. Tuesday will be 5 months together. This is my Herbie. Grateful for clerical errors.
