Official explanation, per pool reporter @ScottDochterman as reviewed by B1G and sent out to media: "Going back to the play. The receiver makes a pointing gesture with his right hand and he makes multiple waving gestures with his left hand. If you look at the video you’ll see that. That waving motion of the left hand constitutes an invalid fair catch signal. So when the receiving team recovers the ball, by rule it becomes dead. So that is a reviewable element of the game. We let the play run out and then when we went to review, review shows with indisputable evidence that there is a waving motion with the left hand. And that is when these rules are applied."
@DaveBoelman@realmonaghan True dat, she’s an east sider. A bit younger than me, but guarantee she was in the stands the night @EastBucFB shut out #1 Parkersburg in the playoffs in 1989.
So I'm watching a movie called Pixels and just found out @realmonaghan is from Winthrop? Bet she's cool as hell, not like @JDDonlea cool but cool nonetheless.
Everyone on Wartburg played awesome, but 23 Wilkins was special. Perhaps the soundest with the ball of any guard that has gone against Hope's furious on-ball pressure.
At the half, #3 Aplington-Parkersburg leads Jesup 37-29. Martez Wiggley is taking over, leads AP with 14 points. Jack Miller is hitting volleyball line threes and has 17 points #iahsbkb
Great to see @EB_Bucs alums Olivia and Lauren Donlea succeed at the next level in the classroom and on the court! Lauren hits a big 3 late in the 4th quarter to pull Wartburg ahead for good! Proud is an understatement!
There was nothing worse than getting invited to play Wiffle Ball and then some motherfucker pulls out these pieces of shit as if that was fucking ok in the slightest.
