I've now seen this film 4 times in total, & each time my theater experience was MASSIVE in reactions! I can't say enough how much I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel. Writing for me is a peaceful escape from the craziness outside, & I'm happy to have had the chance to speak my mind openly. @Roninjoegenji85 @Variety I want to say the same. I love the Matrix, but I don't want it to feel like a parody like Part 4 did. My anticipation was so high for that film, & I was just let down. Sorry for the rant, but hope you understand.

I'm with you! We all want that to be the reality. I'm guessing they want the film to keep going a little longer first. I don't believe they'll push for production on S8 to start too quickly due to scheduling of the cast. They most likely will push for a mid 2027 or early 2028 release.
