What would be the most cost effective & acceptable RCT to assess thromboprophylaxis in pregnancy/ puerperium? - using decision analysis & qualitative studies of women & healthcare professionals - we found a RCT in obese postpartum women would be most valueable & acceptable

Thinking about ‘where are you really from’ experiences - the guy who then asked “do you think you’ll ever go back to the Philippines?” and was then taken aback by my reply that I didn’t have the nationality, speak Filipino, or want to leave my family/social/professional life here

On the #healthvisitor issue - as a new mum having #cancer treatment the only interaction I've had is a phone call months ago that lead to a referral to @homestartuk (wonderful charity). Not had any other support. But I guess that's normal 🤷

@TobyRichardsUWA The publishing system is broken. No solutions only commiserations. Its also 8k that would be better spent elsewhere...

A truly heartbreaking read. It's very easy to respond defensively, but at the heart of this is a previously healthy teenager who died, and a grieving family. #Echobox=1662198607" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2…

I know that I'm not the only mum who's had to stop breastfeeding for chemo and then been put on domperidone (which promotes milk production). This is not good enough, can we please do more to consider breastfeeding mums in medicine @MummysStar

So nice to attend a F2F conference, #ISTH2022 the Katherine Dormandy lecture: brilliant and so thought provoking about the lack of evidence in bleeding disorders. Feeling so inspired! 🤯 @bhwords @Sue_Pavord @LGreenBartsNHS much to do

Listening to the @M0MSuk webinar on haematological disorders in pregnancy. First talk on #SCD, it's brilliant, covering the literature and how to counsel and manage these #complexpregnancies

@JDaru Sorry Jan. Don't mean to patronise. Know you're on side. Just trying to keep this thread on the important issues. 🙂.
