@robshahverdyan Tricky ..original stent graft could have been placed more proximal and may have avoided this. If not planning future ipsilateral access, data from Birmingham would support extension into central vein pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36893851/

How would you treat this edge stenosis (14 months after placement) in a normal-flow single-outflow #RCAVF? Surely, extending the #stentgraft is a valid solution, but it will jail the axillary/subclavian vein and risk future access option.

Although stentgrafts have shown higher target lesion latency rates (TLPR) as compared to plain old balloon angioplasty (#POBA) for the treatment of cephalic arch stenosis (#CAS), edge stenosis is the Achilles heel.

Occluded fem-pop bypass with 8/10 rest pain. Popliteal nerve block and patient asleep within 2 minutes. Definitely a tool that all IRs treating CLTI should have. Simple and highly effective

What on earth. Physician associates are not doctors, or trained in medicine. If we want to open avenues for non-traditional backgrounds into this profession then support widening participation and bursaries. Sad that this is coming from Manchester.
