@WallStreetApes So let me get this straight. You're taking an anti-capitalism stance on this, yes?

Los Angeles Mayor candidate Spencer Pratt confirms that “the number 1 buyer of Pacific Palisades dirt lots is China” “China is taking over Los Angeles and Karen Bass is just letting them take it” China isn’t buying the lots directly, they’re being very secretive. They establish companies based in New Zealand and then purchase Los Angeles properties with New Zealand companies, that are owned by China Chinese buyers accounted for 15% of all foreign international buyer purchases nationwide in America But get this California was the top destination for these Chinese buyers, attracting 36% of their US purchases. 71% paid in all cash deals Democrats are letting China buy out California’s home inventory

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.

americans be like "but walking is banned" lmao, do you really think that football fans care? it will be like a zombie herd making their way through, you won't be able to drive on those roads
Gregor 🌹🇪🇺🇦🇹@salingergregor

if they keep this bs up there will be 50k intl fans each game day who just take a regular train to Rutherford and WALK the 1h to the MetLife Stadium. I know walking is an unfamiliar concept for most Americans, but it is a thing in the rest of the world.

@jzux It is rampant insider trading. That's why it can be used to predict world events.

@Robert_mac88 @njdlauren I keep saying this. We are not defending it, we are describing and explaining it. Many of us hate it too. Some of us have been advocating for improving public transit for years. I don't know if you have noticed, but our politicians don't exactly listen to what we want.

@JDsays2much @njdlauren How do I propose you improve your public infrastructure? First of all I wouldn’t defend it, and second of all I would advocate my politicians to improve it

@ElmarByl @wossa_3 Because you're misunderstanding something. We are not defending it. We hate it too. We don't get a say in where and how these things are built. The corporations that build them and own them, buy off the politicians that make those decisions.

@JDsays2much @wossa_3 But then you build the stadium and the infrastructure that goes with it. It really is incomprehensible to me, a Dutchman, that Americans are not just defending their third rate infrastructure, they are seemingly proud of it being bad.

@salingergregor When you see the price of food and beer inside, you'll understand why we bring our own beer in coolers and drink in the parking lot beforehand. We bring food because we get hungry while drinking. Thus: tailgating. Parking is usually +/- $40 though. The upcharge for WC is dumb.

@fiago7 You've gotta realize something. They do this kind of crap to us citizens literally all the time. That's why there's a whole big cult of people in this country that have to convince themselves that we are the best at everything all the time. So they don't have to see reality.

Not sure what’s worse the location of the stadium, the zero pedestrian access, or hiking the one train route into the stadium from $12 to $150. Not a serious nation.

@bratricek @potatoslav My town doesn't even have sidewalks. If I want to walk anywhere I have to walk on people's property or the side of the road that doesn't really have a shoulder and folks drive 50mph(80kph) on.

Have to say, this is the biggest downside about living in the USA I have ever met yet. Never cared about shooting, cities crime etc as that is place-specific mostly....and overall all differences are specific to a location. Are all 50 states like that? Because I just checked this beautiful, typical US neighborhood and if I bought this nice house I would not be able to walk with my kids to the 4km distant stadium, because there is literally no infrastructure? And it seems like its on purpose. The ability to walk somewhere is so basic for Europeans that this shit is really a deal breaker on the spot. For me, car is the very base of individual freedom, but not a mandatory object to participate in society. If I was younger I guess I would get used to ït but as a father I would not wish this lifestyle for my kids. Huge civilizational difference
