That sometimes, the most loving thing you can do is give someone space.
I used to think love meant closeness. Constant connection. Always being available. Always reaching out. Always holding on. I thought if I gave someone space, they would drift away. I thought distance meant disinterest. I thought silence meant rejection.
But life taught me that space is not abandonment. It is respect.
It is respecting that the person you love is not just your partner. They are a whole human being with their own thoughts, their own struggles, their own need to recharge. They are not a machine designed to meet your emotional needs on demand. They are not responsible for your constant reassurance. And smothering them with your anxiety will not make them stay. It will only make them feel suffocated.
I learned that healthy relationships have breathing room. They have moments of silence that are not filled with tension, but with trust. They have days where you do not talk as much, not because something is wrong, but because life is happening. They have the freedom to miss each other. They have the space to grow individually, so they can come back together and grow as a unit.
And I learned that space is not just for them. It is for you too. It is the time you take to breathe, to think, to remember who you are outside of the relationship. It is the time you use to fill your own cup, so you can show up fuller for them. It is the time you need to stop being defined by the relationship and start being defined by yourself.
So if you love someone, learn to give them space. Not because you do not care. But because you care enough to let them breathe. Because love is not about holding on so tight that no one can move. Love is about holding on just enough that they feel safe, but free enough that they want to stay. That is the balance.

Dear Men,
One thing social media has exposed is how many women openly admit they fumbled a genuinely good man. They cheated, took him for granted, disrespected him, or left him chasing someone who never appreciated what they had.
If you’ve been through that, don’t let her actions make you question your worth.
The right woman won’t make you feel like your loyalty was a weakness or your kindness was something to exploit. A woman who damages a good man’s heart often creates wounds that affect every relationship that comes after. She doesn’t just lose him, she changes him.
Never let the woman who failed to value you convince you that you weren’t valuable.

I can't respect somebody who can take everything I offer. My time, my loyalty, my support, my effort, my peace, and still not value me fr. That's why I started moving different. I'm not perfect, but I know I deserve more than being drained and taken for granted. If love come with stress and constant disrespect, I'd rather be alone. I'm not putting up with anything just to keep somebody in my life.

Every time I spoke up about something that bothered me, I somehow ended up being the problem. Instead of hearing me out, everything turned into my reaction, my tone, or the fact that I even brought it up. That’s when I realized some people don’t want honesty, they want silence. They don’t mind doing things that affect you, they just don’t want to hear about it afterward. Once I saw that pattern, I stopped explaining myself and started keeping my distance.

Be chalant. Care deeply, speak openly, express things fully. The internet made everyone believe sincerity is cringe and emotional distance is maturity. Meanwhile the people actually enjoying life are the ones allowing themselves to be excited, emotional, passionate, invested. Existing like you are too cool to care about anything is such a dull way to experience being alive.
