@tommyhawkins It really is though. It’s not a theme park it’s a whole city. I guess the guests don’t really know that anymore

@JEMM2424 It's not a lifestyle. It's a theme park. You must get treat it as a lifestyle choice but these are professionals doing a job.

Jeff Vahle is 62 years old. He has put in his time (36years) . Let's not assume that executives who work at Disney are as obsessed with Disney as Twitter accounts dedicated to it. Not everyone has ambitions/egos to go higher. And Frontierland is not "Utterly destroyed"

@tommyhawkins They are making decisions to preserve the legacy of the parks. Every person working at Disney should be living and breathing that lifestyle. That’s how it used to be and that’s why you had such high retention in fast members.

@joshandersonnh @DisTouristBlog It just doesn’t reach that level of theming Disney resorts are famous for. It’s like the riviera. It’s a nice resort but doesn’t feel like a disney resort.

@DisTouristBlog The negative comments are hilarious. People will visit this resort and when they do, they will love it and want to stay at it more than once. These renderings since the start have always looked amazing. Truly, when has WDW produced an objectively BAD deluxe resort?

NEW: Following fan backlash to last week's reveal, Walt Disney World released new concept art. If the goal was to turn reactions from negative to positive, mission accomplished. It's not perfect, but Lakeshore Lodge has potential to be a great WDW hotel... disneytouristblog.com/disney-world-r…

Newly obtained court records via @GabrielleRusson reveal how Disney quietly maneuvered behind the scenes during its battle with Ron DeSantis. The story details how it impacted the Magic Kingdom expansion and more drama happening behind the scenes. Story: floridapolitics.com/archives/79242…

@illsimpformoney @gatortebowfan15 @ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson I genuinely can’t see them bringing another contractor in though. The complexity of Walt Disney World would make it such a lengthy and complicated process not to mention the standards could slip. Reedy Creek energy service services as 238 employees that know the property well.

@gatortebowfan15 @illsimpformoney @ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson Disney did an amazing job. It’s a unique place where a standard district doesn’t make sense. I’m not saying other cooperations I’m saying Disneys world was running great. And I find it troubling the new board was put in place to destroy reedy creek. It said so in the article.

@JEMM2424 @illsimpformoney @ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson You don’t want a corporation, any corporation, writing their own laws and issuing govt bonds. While Disney World appears to have been extremely conscientious in running Reedy Creek, it’s not hard to imagine where it could go badly.

@JEMM2424 @gatortebowfan15 @ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson Reedy Creek Energy Services is contracted by the district to manage the district utilites but CFTOD had said they were ending that contract. Not sure if that has changed recetly. Anyway the actual utilites infrastructure is owned by CFTOD not RCES.

@illsimpformoney @gatortebowfan15 @ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson Nothing really changed like I said. The CFTOD‘s primary goal is treating Disney well. And Disney still has ownership over the land and development rights. Not to mention they spun off reedy Creek power so that division doesn’t even fall into the CFTOD anymore it’s Disney owned.

@ScottGustin @GabrielleRusson The end result is correct. Disney World has a friendly district but they don’t control it. No corporation should control its own government. This should’ve been done in the 1980s. Now could’ve it have been done and handled better, definitely.

@nonjediahsoka @wdwpro1 So you don’t know that Disney doesn’t have battery’s onsite to store energy. Do you have any documents from ready creek energy services? I’m not disputing it but it just sounds like your grasping at air.

@JEMM2424 @wdwpro1 It is widely known that solar does not store like other energy sources. You end up having to sell off more solar than you use at times because you can’t store it. You lose money in the end.
