@stepha_henson NORMAL. I can read through a big stack at a library and only find 1-2 I'd want to read again. Makes me sad, and I can't help but wonder WHY this one? Especially when a book is clearly written for adults or older kids -- who rarely look at pbs.

As a kidlit writer, I read a lot of picture books. This is going to sound bad but, you ever come across one that you just don’t “get”? Like what made that stand out to an Editor? Would it really appeal to a child? Like, how? Is this normal or am I awful? I don’t mean to be! 😕
