I'm getting more & more hype for the Tekken 8 final character reveal for Season 3 😱😱 If it was up to me, I would add Guts from Berserk 🤣

Combos started from an airborn float leaving the opponent with 90% of the damage as recoverable grey life needs to be changed.. a simple if check in the system code for if a float started from a Punish, then change the grey scaling would fix so much wrong with this game.. stuff like Law and Shaheen slide risk vs reward is genuinely just busted.. or things like zafina's running 1+2 only giving a float combo cause she goes into tarantula.. please get rid of this shit asap

He's been able to do that forever.. but the teleport parry is worse than its ever been right now.. most of the cast can launch punish the parry on hit.. he can be up to -32 after doing it.. theres a handful of situations like ws2 oB where raven is -8 so he doesnt have the frames to sidestep or backdash or powercrush, where you can OS the situations with a move that intentionally triggers the parry into a buffer punish on the teleport. I made a video on it in s1 yet still never see anyone really dealing with it properly lmao

@redre1ated this will not be replacing TEKKEN, most TEKKEN players simply do not play other fighters and they didn’t take a liking to REVO when it dropped. unless it sways significantly from the essence of VF, i doubt many TEKKEN players will be here for the long run, unfortunately.

Assuming this is legit footage...IF it is...Then IF Sega can stick the landing...Tekken 8 is finished. I'm sure the casuals & those who don't mind ridiculous brainrot mechanics & rpg like characters will continue playing it; however, VF6 is where I will primarily be.

This tech as well as loads of other tech has been known for a long time by small groups of players who actually do the work to find this stuff.. the vast majority of players put in little to no effort or time into actually finding tech, they just sit online and absorb and take from the work other people put in.. The reason this tech was intentionally being kept on the low in T8 is due to the fear of Namco constantly removing system mechanics and dumbing down Okizemi situations. This tech wasn't as used in previous games because we had backroll catches, we were able to end backturned combos in a spike then do backroll catches and stuff like that. But since Namco has tried so hard to remove that mechanic entirely, now this specific tech is some of the last that remains in this game. And most characters don't have that great of options for when the opponent stays down and don't have easy access to side switching mid-combo to get into a bt combo.. Only a handful of characters can truly maximize this tech but i won't go into that because like i said, there is a fear of the new gen z players t8report spamming this tech like theyve done other tech and getting it removed.

@Deeon_Grey @JoeCrush_ Most characters dont have good options if you stay down, other than a grounded hit.. a handful of characters have really crazy reset options though.. JFJ has been blowing people up with this tech forever.

@sin_nl7 There's a lot of weird stuff with buffering sidesteps in this game.. i noticed Raven can also step things in BT in the direction they track in specific instances where he wouldnt be able to step that way from normal standing position even if the frame situation is identical.

Guys, I think this is a very important bug to do research into with the rest of the cast. I've tried already with other char's 1,2 , but can't replicate the same as it shows here. It very well may be that a lot of moves have this bug in the game. We just never had an explanation

How is the character with a top 3-5 punishment in the game, electric (best move in the game), launching unseeable low that he can mix with a launcher thats only -12 OB, best gimmicks in the game also the worst character in the game?

@TriggerFGC @PontiffZangana Considering most the top players are GoD4-GoD5, he's only 4 ranks away from playing them lol.. Where as if this was T7, he would be like 10+ ranks away from them. Struggling to get out of Ruler ranks
