Wolves GM Matt Lloyd is already being rumored for #Bulls job. Shoudn’t be a surprise since he’s already had an office at the facility before. Reeks of what ownership has traditionally done.

A very simple, very smart hire for the Bulls would be Timberwolves GM Matt Lloyd. Started his career in Chicago and was there for a decade before the Magic hired him as assistant GM. Deserves a shot to run a front office. Terrific evaluator, smart human.

The last National Champion to beat a 1 or 2 seed prior to the Final Four was 2017 UNC. Some things fell their way but they won every game by double digits and beat the best #2 seed in their home city.

Illinois is a great story. Illinois is a really good team. Beating Houston is really impressive. But 14-seed Penn. 11-seed VCU instead of 6-seed UNC. 9-seed Iowa instead of 1-seed Florida. C’mon man. It’s a shockingly light path.
