Thank you to Undersheriff David Rosado for coming out today and presenting his anti-bullying magic show "Be a Hero, Not a Zero". Students had a great time and learned about how they can be heroes not zeros!

We had a wonderful turnout yesterday at our South Norfolk School Supply Giveaway. Thank you to The Mount Chesapeake for the supplies and help. It was wonderful seeing our students and families and we can't wait to start the 24-25 school year!

Today we welcomed back our staff at OSM as our building is wrapping up final remodeling projects with a breakfast provided by River Oak Church. Then our staff participated in a few fun events aligned with our Theme "Under Construction: Building Our Future Together".

I was sitting in the airport when I saw a young mother walking by with her infant. The woman standing beside the window noticed that the mother’s shoe was untied. She stopped her and then bent down to tie it. Kindness doesn’t have color. It’s the small things. #kindnessmatters 🩷
