Israeli Quadcopter drones were used in Gaza to emit the sound of a baby crying. When people rushed to help what they thought was a baby suffering, they were shot. This is what the Filton 24 did to one of those Quadcopter drones.

Would love to know the answer to these questions, because next season depends on it

What is the recruitment process? We have foregone a Sporting Director, so who is leading this? Cavenagh? Steinsson? Bjornebye? Purdy? Who has a voice at the table and who does not? How are data thresholds and market information being incorporated into the process? Key issues.

This season is what it is, we got back into a title race we had no business getting back into and we'll probably fall short. There are a whole lot of uncertainties around the club that matter significantly more than the next four games.

This is why you don’t spend big wages on a keeper. He has a negative effect on our goals conceded and it’s not even his fault!

You can also rest assured, dear @meilaoban, that Palantir are, as you said, not a threat to democracy in Europe—they’re likely just some harmless old cranks. The fact that they also manufacture technologies to kill children is probably incidental.
Silicon Valley Fodder@Playerinthgame

When Alex Karp met Mosley to discuss his role at Palantir in 2016, Mosley reported that Karp repeated a memorized speech Mosley's fascist grandfather had made, then did some tai chi & left. That's no interview. Was being the grandson of a notorious fascist all Palantir needed?

We don't need all of these to be perfect - we can win with a flawed recruitment process, limited cash resources or an ill-suited manager. But we give ourselves less room for error if these issues persist.

There is empirical evidence that managers have little impact on the points total of a team - providing you have a competent one. Rohl will clearly be a good manager, but is he capable of setting a team up to dominate the ball instead of playing in transitions?

We spoke to reporter Zaynab Faraj, who survived a triple-tap attack that killed her colleague, Amal Khalil. She described how an Israeli strike first hit a car ahead of them, killing two civilians, before a second strike targeted their own vehicle, severely injuring Amal. Ms Faraj said she helped her into an empty house, where they lay wounded and terrified, waiting for help. A third Israeli strike then hit the building where they were hiding, collapsing it on top of them. “Amal was gone,” Ms Faraj said. “And I was left alone.” Throughout the ordeal, the journalists made repeated calls for help. But Israel prevented the Lebanese Army and the Lebanese Red Cross from reaching them, informed sources told us.

@EHDMJU Look, Louis Mosley says you can trust them, so what are you worried about. You would think the past six months would be a clear and obvious lesson that Europe (UK incl) has to de-risk from the US, including its tech companies. But apparently not

@JG93_ They’re also embedded into HMRC and The FCA. Which you’d think would cause concern for the type of person usually unconcerned with patient confidentiality.

It is curious to me that there are many British people who don't see the risk in an American company, overtly committed to American hegemony, retaining access to NHS databases (including patient medical data - that's the whole point of the FDP that they sold to NHS England!)
Louis Mosley@louismosley

@ZackPolanski - this is magnificent. Three things I can’t deny: 1. It is a video. 2. You are wearing a jacket. 3. Then you aren’t. 4. Then you are again. Unfortunately that’s where the accuracy ends. A few corrections for you: Peter Thiel is not our CEO. Alex Karp is — and has been for 20+ years. (A lifelong Democrat, for anyone keeping score.) We are not a “spyware company.” Spyware is malware. Malware is illegal. Calling a software company spyware is, technically, defamatory (don’t worry, we are not suing). We don’t build surveillance technology. We build software that helps organisations make sense of data they already hold. Not the same thing. There was no “private tour” of our HQ. There was a public photocall to which the media came. Hence, why there are so many pictures of the event. Our MOD contract is not “the biggest defence contract in UK history.” Ajax armoured vehicles = £5.5bn. Dreadnought submarines = £31bn. We’re grateful for the work, but let’s keep a sense of scale. We have no more access to NHS data than Microsoft has to the contents of your Word documents. I think you know this by now. We don’t have access to patient medical records. Same story. I agree that “nothing matters more than our health.” Which makes it worth reminding you of what Palantir’s software is actually doing in the NHS right now: ->110,000 additional operations ->15% fewer delayed hospital discharges ->7% more patients finding out within 28 days whether they have cancer Respect again for what you did with that jacket.
