Peter Obi made efforts to register a new party almost immediately after the 2023 elections, but he was denied! INEC refused, for whatever reason reserved to them. It appears many people are oblivious to the desperate machinations of Tinunu’s government to stop Obi from being on the ballot in 2027.
Dr Joe Abah, OON@DrJoeAbah

I am completely naive about these matters, but why do people with large followings not form their own political parties modelled on their own ideology? | Kwankwaso, Obi obtain NDC membership cards – Daily Trust dailytrust.com/just-in-kwankw…

There's something that Nigerians do that annoys me so much. Someone will be sick in the hospital, need funds, will reach out and no one will help. But once they're about to die or have become moribund , you'd see people start showing up in numbers, people visiting, people then start reaching out at that point. What happened when they were in the early phase?

I was in a queue at a POS stand in Lagos when a little boy, maybe 10 years old, walked up. He handed the agent ₦500 and said, “Aunty, help me send it to my mummy.” The agent asked, “Where is your mummy dey?” He replied, “Hospital.” Everyone went quiet. She asked again, “Why did you not go with her?” The boy looked down and said, “The doctor said they won’t touch her until we bring money.” Nobody spoke for a few seconds. Then the woman behind me stepped forward and said, “How much do they need?” Before you knew it, strangers started contributing. That day, I realised something: In Nigeria, people are struggling, but they still show up for one another.

In 2027, INEC will be trying so hard to manipulate the election results, because the numbers will be too large for them and even a calculator to change. Nigeria will be OK come 2027✌️✌️✌️

@NDCNigNews @kosipoka17 This is nonsense and not acceptable. Obidients are never bullies. We are a group of people who believe in a new country which is only POssible in Peter Obi. We believe things should be done rightly and if you want to cajole us into accepting rubbish we will stand tall

Tinubu will be doing the younger generation of politicians a big disservice if he doesn’t document his political journey in a book form for them to read and learn from. He might end up as the greatest politician that has ever lived in this country.
