The Scriptures place a larger focus on Titus than it does Nero.

If you believe the prophecies of Revelation are at all connected to the prophecies of Daniel, then the prophecies of Daniel DEMAND and early date of Revelation.

Spoiler for an upcoming video… I’m 99% convinced the little horn of Daniel 7 is referring to Titus not Nero. Also the beasts very well could have been referring to Demons who had power over the nations and kings of Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece, and Rome 🤯

@thefifthhead @Eschatology22 Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve taken what I have access to of his into account. Such as what I have found online and YouTube. I just simply haven’t had the funds to buy a physical copy yet. Sadly I’m limited 😂

Ok that’s fine. Like I said I’m not necessarily convinced it is either. I just was recommending a great interview on the topic the talked about the cloth dating. It’s just an enjoyable interview and @EliAyal17454205 is an awesome reformed brother. I don’t think you’re an atheist 😂

@JGlassMin @WWUTTcom @EliAyal17454205 I’ve listened to a dozen interviews like this with experts. I’m 100% certain the shroud is not the burial cloth of Jesus, based on the biblical account alone. And I’ve been called an atheist for saying so.

Marshall blocked me, so I can’t repost. • Multiple tests affirm the Shroud of Turin is from the medieval period. • An entombed body found near Jerusalem and dated to the 1st century does not resemble the SoT in how the Jews buried their dead. • John 20:7 disproves the SoT.

As we enter this Good Friday and dwell upon the sacrifice of Our Lord I want to highlight an amazing part of the Crucifixion story. It begins with the Tamid sacrifice and the Jewish Calendar. The Tamid sacrifice was the daily sacrifice performed in the temple as a continual burn offering unto the Lord. We see this instituted in Exodus 29:38-46: 38 “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously. 39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; 40 and there shall be one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with one lamb. 41 The other lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord. 42 It shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. 43 I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be consecrated by My glory. 44 I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to Me. 45 I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. 46 They shall know that I am the Lord their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God." We see that these two lambs were sacrificed at morning and at twilight. But what does that mean? To begin to understand we must look at the Jewish calendar. The Jewish day was broken into 12 hours, and the night into 12 hours. The day hours consisted of 6am-6pm counted as 1-12 ex: 6am-7am - 1st hour 7am-8am - 2nd hour 8am-9am - 3rd hour 9am-10am - 4th hour 10am-11am - 5th hour 11am-12pm - 6th hour 12pm-1pm - 7th hour 1pm-2pm - 8th hour 2pm-3pm - 9th hour 3pm-4pm - 10th hour 4pm -5pm - 11th hour 5pm-6pm - 12th hour The Night was broken into 3 watches and under the Roman Empire 4 watches. During Christs time these night watches would have been: 6pm-9pm - 1st watch 9pm-12am - 2nd watch 12am-3am - 3rd watch (Cockcrow) 3am-6am - 4th watch Guards would blast trumpets to signal the end of each night watch. In regards to the normal temple liturgy the priests would be awakened by the Cockcrow the third of the trumpet blasts signaling the coming of morning and would begin to wake and fire up the furnaces used to cook the sacrificial bread as well as cast lots for their duties. This is what Peter was to hear after he denied Christ three times. Christ was not speaking of an actual rooster but of the cockcrow trumpet blasts. Essentially Christ was saying before the night is over and the day begins you will deny me three times. At the first hour (6am) the priests would inspect the first lamb and ensure that it was pure and they would lead it to the altar. At the 3rd hour (9am) the first lamb was sacrificed. At the 6th hour (12pm) the priests would inspect the second lamb and ensure that it was pure and they would lead it to the altar. At the 9th hour (3pm) the second lamb was sacrificed. These offerings were burnt offerings that burned continually day and night. So that the smoke off the altar could be seen in the city at all times. This signaled to the Jews that God had accepted their sacrifice. It gives new understanding of Paul's words in Romans 12 when he says to present ourselves as living sacrifices. Our lives are supposed to be living smoke signals showing the mercy of God. This along with other grain and wine offerings and prayer were performed each day at the temple. The fire was never to go out. This was the daily temple liturgy. Bringing this back to the Crucifixion, what is so amazing is that Christ's day of his sacrifice was a perfect playing out of the Tamid sacrifice. The Gospels gives us this information clearly: Cockcrow/3am: Matthew 26:75 "And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly." (This was the beginning of the day when the priests awoke to begin their day) 0-1st Hour/6am: Most believe John is using roman timing in his gospel and states in John 19:14-15 that " When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!"(This would have been when the first lamb was inspected and led to the altar just as Pilate named Christ innocent) 3rd Hour/9am: Mark 14:25 "And it was the third hour, and they crucified him." (This would have been when the first lamb was slain) 6th Hour/12pm: Mark 14:33 "And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour." (This would have been when the second lamb was inspected and led to the altar) 9th Hour/3pm: "34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 35 And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias. 36 And one ran and filled a sponge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down. 37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost." (This would have been when the second lamb was slain) This was done for generations and generations throughout all of Israel's history. Even when carried to exile and there was no temple Daniel prayed three times a day (most likely the 3rd 6th and 9th hours) according to his custom. The Nation of Israel for thousands of years had a shadow of the sacrifice of Christ right before their eyes. Every single day they were looking towards Christs perfect sacrifice. Christ's Sacrifice was a perfect playing out of the temple liturgy. God's works of providence are just beautiful. Glory be to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
