I’m so sorry to hear about Kathy Wilbur’s passing today. She taught me so much when I was a policy staffer in Gov. Engler’s office assigned to her dept. She was a mentor, the best. So funny, knew EVERYONE and how EVERYTHING worked, and had ALL the intel. Rest in peace kw. ❤️

Trump-evangelicalism is a religious cult. It's not that the MAGA folks believe Trump is Jesus. No, it's that they wish Jesus was a little more like Donald Trump than the Gospel version of Jesus. The "Love your enemy" and "turn the other cheek" Gospel is deemed unrealistic and weak compared to the "stand your ground" and "don't tread on me" gospel of the NRA... so they reimagine Jesus, not as he was, but as they wish he was. The cult of Trump is what happens when people abandon the sacrificial love of Jesus on the cross and re-create Jesus in their own image with an AR-15 and a MAGA hat... and use him as a mascot for their political team in the idolatrous quest for power. He just becomes a means to an end.

@DaveBondyTV I am a teacher in Hudsonville. Most would assume my students can afford breakfast and lunch. I’ll tell you that the two years of free breakfast and lunch were an absolute game changer in my classroom. So many this last year came to school without breakfast. So grateful for this!

There's that old saying: "God created us in his image... and we decided to return the favor." That's how you get this version of "jesus." Jesus was not white. He did not speak English. The settlement represents justice for Dominion, but by no means does it cleanse Fox of its corruption. Liars must be fired. Viewers must be informed. The company must apologize. And then it needs to hire new, honest producers and hosts. Until then, it's still corrupt.
