I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision.
I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years.

Winning a Premier League title elevates the status of a lot of these Arsenal players significantly... In my opinion you can't be considered truly world class without winning a big prize. Saka, Rice, Saliba, Gabriel, Raya etc... they all enter a new stratosphere now, you can now make the case they are world class, you can now pit them against Premier League champions.
