For those who don’t see the big deal: 1) Reform is campaigning for pro-crypto policies that would financially benefit the company Farage has invested in 2) Stack is owned by Paul Withers, who also owns the gold dealer Direct Bullion, of which Farage is a brand ambassador 3) Reform has accepted £12m in donations from a foreign-based Crypto investor Nothing Farage is doing is illegal or against parliamentary rules, but it doesn’t pass the sniff test. It also raises the question of why he has time to promote Crypto businesses and gold dealers when he doesn’t have time to hold constituency surgeries.

We had a very interesting debate on @LBC last night about the ethics of reporting your own child to the police (after the Southport inquiry blamed AR’s parents). I’m not a parent myself, but surely reporting suspected criminality shouldn’t be seen as a betrayal of your child, but as an intervention in their best interests? And, moreover, doesn’t your obligation to wider society over-ride your loyalty to your child?
