Peaceful Thoughts Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 It is not My will for you to be anxious. So why are you? Who are you listening to? I will give you peace that passes all understanding. Is that what you want? Then pray. I am listening. Cast your cares upon Me for I care for you. Focus on Me and not the cares or anxious thoughts. Do you not trust Me? If you did, then you would know that I am a good Father. Meditate on My goodness and thank Me for who I am. You know I am the Great I Am. The more you behold Me, the more you become like Me. Peace be still. Abide in My peace. Take a deep breath in and out. Do it again. Relax. Now thank Me for who I am and what I have already done for you. I am listening. I know what you have need of before you even ask Me. Remember to seek Me and My kingdom. Never Alone The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23:1 Your shepherd is leading you into a land of abundance where there is no lack or decrease. I go before you. I know what is best for you. Follow My lead. Walk in My footsteps. I take care of you. I lead to restful waters. There are times of refreshing you must take advantage of. Take time to rest with Me. There are more than enough resources when you follow the shepherd. I also protect you. I am your defense, so stop trying to defend yourself. Either you are going to defend yourself, or I am. You choose. Since I am with you, there is no reason to be afraid. I comfort you when you are feeling uncomfortable. I have prepared a way for you that even your enemies cannot deny. Walk uprightly and be bold, for I am with you, and I will never leave you nor forsake you. Act like I am with you, for I am. Learn from Me. Compassionate Forgiveness And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 Forgiveness is a choice. I forgave you of ALL your sins. Forgiveness is available to everyone through the blood of Jesus. He was punished on the cross for your sins and the sins of others who have harmed you. Since I have pardoned them, I am asking you to forgive them today. You can when you ask Me to help you. I know you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, and that includes forgiving those who hurt you. Once you have forgiven them, then bless them. Love your neighbor as yourself. Would you want others to forgive you for your wrongdoings? Of course, you would. Have compassion for those who have done you wrong and betrayed you. Ask Me to give you empathy so you can understand their situation. Remember, you have been forgiven, and I want you to forgive the ones that Jesus died for. This one act of kindness will set you free from the pain and agony you have experienced. Let’s do this together, shall we? Continuous Contentment Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6 I have so much peace for you when you choose to be content with what you already have. Did you know that Christ is your contentment? He is always the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the Lord and changes not. Why would you not be content in Him? Worship Him with such satisfaction. He is your greatest desire, isn’t He? Great gain will follow you, reverencing Him with a content heart. He is your all in all. I promise that all I have is yours. I have given you all things that pertain to life and godliness. It is My will for you to enjoy these things and be content at the same time. Your contentment can be focused on what Christ has already provided for you on the cross. His sacrifice expressed His love for you. Do you really need more things, and then you’ll be content? Who are you going to believe? I will give you peace and rest. The devil cannot give that to you because he does not have it to give. All that I have for you is good. Where is your focus? On My love or the devil’s fears? Love never fails. Be courageous, for I am with you. Remember, you are never alone, no matter how you feel. I am your protector. I will keep you from harm. First Choice But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 What will you seek first in the morning? You get to choose. Why not choose Me first? Seek and you will find Me. I promise you. When you seek first My kingdom and My righteousness, you will find what you are looking for. Will you be more patient with Me in the morning? I am in no rush nor hurry. So wait longer. It will be well worth it. I promise you. If I am really #1 in your life, then nothing or anyone will come before Me, true? Seeking takes time. Be consistent. I’ll make sure you find what I want you to seek. Your expectations will change in the morning when you are looking for Me. I’ll be easy to find, but it takes waiting. Hope rises when you wait on Me. Who are you seeking? When you believe that I have already supplied all your needs, then you will rest and receive in My presence. Come to Me, and I will give you rest.
