I can only speak of what I’ve observed while he worked in his career
- lived significantly below his means
- bought stock in the company he worked for, used dividends to pay loan for 300 acres of timberland
- used timberland to pay for larger expenses
- dual citizenship in SA
- bought land in SA
- wide range of investments from stocks, funds, Bitcoin
- paid any vehicle he purchased in cash
- paid mortgage plus principle every month, paid off our childhood home 10+ years early
If I were to sum it up, he took advantage of the “unsexy” opportunities that rarely depreciate

Put them to work and made them employees and opened up Roth IRA for minors. Can contribute up to $7.5k of earned income.
