@TheStingisBack It introduced me to a bad ass blues guitar player, a blind white boy from Toronto Canada named @JHealeyOfficial Man we’ve lost so many from that cast an most of what’s left is not getting any younger I probably recite this movie at least three times a week ROADHOUSE !
@rahman_emm57402 I'm sorry, Jeff Healey passed away in March of 2008 after a 3 year battle with cancer. This and all official sites (jeffhealey.com etc) are run by the Estate of Jeff Healey - myself and Jeff's wife Cristie. Thanks for reaching out and for joining us here. ~Rog
@mrredsoxpats@rocknrollofall No, you didn't. I did. My point is that (in Jeff's case) he was blind. He had no sight. But, he could still hear. He still had hands. You don't need vision to play an instrument... ~Rog
@mrredsoxpats@rocknrollofall Um... They aren't deaf. Either (as in Jeff's case) they learn their way around the instrument enough to figure out chord shapes and note placement, or someone shows them finger positions for various chords etc. There's more than one way to skin a proverbial cat... ~Rog
@JHealeyOfficial So you play pretty good for a blind white boy roadhouse man I miss him. Hope you guys had a good holiday up in Toronto. Happy new year. Can’t wait for the documentary to come out.
Jeff Healey, lost in the moment... on stage on the 'See The Light' tour! (photographer unknown) ~Rog
