Kai Cenat's Streamer University is a gold mine of lessons for small streamers But they're not telling you the most important info in the classes... Here are the things you pick up if you watch Streamer University with a strategic eye: 1. Large collaborative events dramatically increase your reach. Stop streaming a thousand days a week. Instead, create a big event with a lot of streamers. Accomplish something together and make a ton of content out of it. 2. Engineer proximity for discoverability Kai did this intentionally by booking a university with small halls and plenty of places for streamers to bump into each other. Put yourself around other creators and make their content better. You can be educational like @MeesterKeem, or weird and clippable, like @SukiMellow. I've got a whole post coming about how to engineer proximity, because there are about 20 different ways to do it. So look out for that soon. 3. Your brand needs to be distinct. I've been saying this since 2018. None of the Power Rangers are the same, they're all different types of people. The best characters at Streamer U are distinct in who they are. They're not copies of anybody else. You need to figure out what makes you different, not what makes you the same, and lean into it hard, so it's very easy to tell the difference between you and one of the other Power Rangers. 4. Stop taking yourself so seriously. Cinna and Valkyrae are joking around a LOT. Everyone is trying to be funny. If you take yourself too seriously, you can't have fun with them. The caveat: if you cross the line where you forget all decency and respect, you'll be very annoying. You have to find the balance between joking around and having a good time, and not going so far that everyone will hate you. 5. The days of just playing video games for a large audience are kind of over. You'll still see creators like this blow up over the coming years. But live streaming is seeing the same shift YouTube is: people are looking for shows and addicting content. You can take formats that have worked for years (Love Island, Survivor) and turn them into live shows. Expect to see even more streamers creating content similar to trash TV. 6. Streaming is not a volume game. Kai is proof. He hasn't streamed in months, then shows back up with Streamer University and gets a million viewers. This happens because the concept of Streamer University is so good, it doesn't matter if Kai's been consistently streaming or not. He did a great job architecting the event for virality. Stream less, create an event, architect it to get a lot of views. 7. Brands are interested in large events. When you put on an event, it's much more impressive to brands and they're more likely to sponsor. You can get a ton of product to give away to streamers or to their audiences to further increase reach and discovery. And you can do this regardless of size, because the event is what they're judging, not your stream alone. What stood out most to yall? What are you picking up?

Ludwig just said he made $1,135,400 in June Here’s the split: - Merch: $7,800 - YouTube: $270,000 - Twitch: $57,600 - Sponsors: $800,000 Start making relationships with Brands, even if you’re small.. It can pay off tons later on A lot of them check DMs
