@JJLK4R Typo??? "it’s possible [DECREASED] melanin can lead to increased dopamine production" Dopamine is a reward compound, IIRC... Does the body produced in response or absense of melanin? And what is all this "food snitching", Whites LOVE SQUID/GRAPES/etc! Are they "fiending"?🤔🤔

I thought this was interesting since high testosterone and low cortisol(something melanin seems to mostly correlate with in animals) is also associated with social aggression in humans, increased desire for casual sex, and status seeking behaviors.

melanic animals produced less corticosterone(human equivalent would be cortisol) in response to stress than less melanized animals

I believe the reasons for these melanin correlations with aggressive and sexual behaviors is due to melanin's anti inflammatory properties due to it’s functions as an anti oxidant, which reduces cortisol(the homone thats causes fear)which boosts testosterone production.

melanic mosquito fish had bigger gonopodia(mating organ) than sliver males (human penises would be the human equivalent in this case)
