I think we need to be honest and acknowledge that some fans are idiots and need to just grow up. I’ve been a season ticket holder on and off for 35+ years and it’s consistently been the fans that let us down and spoil things. The club have worked really hard to get us to where we are now, and we are all enjoying it. But then we wanna come and risk ground closures or harsh fines for what? Nonsense? Surely there has to be some middle ground - nobody is asking us to sit it silence. Is it that hard to just not be racist, homophobic or ableist? I just don’t think it’s hard and I don’t see it as being overly sanitised to being made to sit in silence either. Just don’t be dicks. Simple.
