A 58-year-old man has been charged with a public order act offence. He was arrested on the Strand for holding a placard which had a photo of a police officer on it and caused harassment, alarm or distress.

On Wednesday, a 14-yr-old boy who was allegedly planning attacks on two mosques in Sutton was charged with terrorism offences. Today, Cmsr Sir Mark Rowley visited the Sutton Central Masjid alongside local leaders to reassure the community about our commitment to their safety.

@JJSharpers Guys Hospital did that for us. I remember being turned away from a centre in Lewisham. Made me feel so valued. Not.

One of the greatest shows of true partnership was the local hospitals contacting us on team and offering leftover vaccines to frontline cops. I am forever grateful my team mates got them, my husband got one and I received one on my return to team from maternity leave.
