Ballhandling is so important in the playoffs. Once this series started, it’s like CJ McCollum instantly became a much better offensive player than Jalen Johnson because one guy can comfortably dribble to his spots and make pull-up jumpers vs. pressure, and the other cannot.

While getting 5 or 6 would have been ideal to have our pick of those guards, we will still get one being in Top 10.
Top 4 is an almost guaranteed stud prospect to pair with Coop.
Top 10 is a very good prospect who certainly has a chance to be an All-star.

The Mavs will pick in the top 10, meaning one of those will be a Mav come draft night. And that’s assuming a team doesn’t become infatuated with Mara, Ament or Lendeborg.
We already have the superstar. The second fiddle is coming.

@Buckeye_GDG No not at all. IF Bryce plays up to his potential or at least shows serious growth I think they’d be in position next year with a lot of guys coming back. Schedule is way too tough this year I think the ceiling is sneaking into the playoffs as a 10-12 and probably losing

I understand this was a tough season with lower lottery odds than we would’ve hoped after enduring it, but we still got the best player of the last two drafts and that is why I can’t get too worked out about whatever happens today or in May.

@fanatic_vikings @TPPSkol It’s worth trying if someone will move up. Theres so many safeties we could target in that range even if someone else takes him. Theres not many guys worth staying at 18 for unless one of the big 3 WRs fall / Sadiq / top two corners
