Mother nature has a sense of humor too, it would seem. Sunny and warm most of the day. Than I get ready to leave for work and it's snow everywhere. Lovely April fools prank Mother Nature. Now take it away.

So far I've spent all my extra time doing projects at home instead of writing. I'm being productive, but hate that I'm not getting more time in on my writing. I'm so conflicted.

I have been both shocked and amazed by the way people have reacted to our current situation. I have seen and heard stories that show the best and the worst of humanity. I can only hope we come out the other side better for the experience.

The only thing that fixes that feeling you get when you realize you have to redo your storyline, is the feeling that comes when your edits fall into place and you know you were right to tear your original draft apart. #WritingCommunity

@author_cory Under different circumstances I might normally way yes, but I am starved for criticism of any kind most of the time. My only beta readers are family that feel bad being honest. I want negative feedback so I can improve. All I get is "sounds good."

@miriamcoley4 Yep. A first draft is like an introduction for the author to get to know his characters. Without it, there is no way of connecting or growing.

Going over another first draft. It's always humbling to see how bad things are the first time around, and encouraging to see how far I can take them. Can you imagine what it would be like to be judged solely off your first drafts? Oh, the horror. #writerscommunity #writerslife

@JJYoung_writes To think some people treat the first draft as a final. The first draft is just you telling yourself the story- I cant remember who first said it but it feels very true

Started a second job this week doing night watch at a youth home. What I haven't figured out, is if I took it for the money or the 8 hours of quiet that I get to use to write and do homework with. Let's be honest. I needed both. #writerslife #WritingCommnunity

@samwritesedits I currently use WordPress. Squarespace is relatively new to me, but I'm looking into it. If you learn anything that sends you to one or the other, let us know. 😀

@BeyondTheTrope Any tricks for getting past it? Besides the usual I mean. Eating, exercise, etc...

@samwritesedits Have you found anything besides eating that helps? Exercise works some times, but often I find myself just trying to come back to write later. Unless the stress is something I can work on, then dealing with it is best of course.
