لمشكلة إنو صار الواحد مضطر يبرر وجعه كأنو في سلم أولويات للمعاناة. الجنوب دفع وعم يدفع الثمن الأكبر أكيد، بس الحقيقة إنو البلد كله عم ينهار نفسياً واقتصادياً ومعيشياً. ما بقى في بيت بلبنان إلا وفيه خوف، قلق، أو خسارة بشكل من الأشكال. ولأنّ البعض عايش برا، ما يعني إنو معزول عن أهله وناسه. قلوبنا وعقولنا كل يوم بلبنان، مع أهلنا وعائلاتنا، وعم نحاول نساعد قد ما فينا عائلات صارت بحاجة لكل شي تقريباً. لما نوصل لمرحلة نقارن مين بعده قادر يتنفس ومين لا، منكون كلنا خسرنا البلد.

كلنا حاملين الهم وهاي المصيبة يلي ما حدا بده يشوفها، كلنا عايشين بخوف، وقلة شغل ما شهدها البلد من عقود، العالم ما معها تمشي، شغل واقف، رعب، مدمرين نفسيا، حياتنا كلنا واقفة بانتظار الأسوأ، مش ضروري نتشقف ليصير النا حق نحكي، ما فيك تفصلنا عن واقعنا هالقد... اهل الجنوب مصيبتهم أكبر اكيد، بس لما نصير نقارن مين مصيبته أكبر ببلد هالقد صغير يعني البلد كله طار عزيزي، صرنا عم نميز بين بعده عم يتنفس ومين لا، ليك ملا كارثة وصلنالها #لبنان

Exactly. Calling this a ceasefire while bombs keep falling daily is an insult to every family living through the destruction. A ceasefire that only one side is expected to respect is not diplomacy it is cover for continued attacks and occupation. Washington keeps selling devastation as progress while Lebanese civilians pay the price. Entire towns destroyed, constant violations, lives erased, and somehow we are supposed to applaud another 45-day extension of the same failed reality. At this point, the word ceasefire has lost all meaning when there is no accountability for endless violations. @LBpresidency

🚨 The US State Department just announced the ceasefire between Israel & Lebanon will be extended by 45 days. Who the hell are they kidding? There is no ceasefire. Israel has never respected one. Since the last so-called truce on March 2, & the one before it, there have been over 20,000 violations: daily strikes including north of the Litani, entire towns erased, hundreds killed. Just more Israeli bombs & occupation while Washington calls it “progress.” At this point, putting “Israel” & “ceasefire” in the same sentence is becoming an oxymoron. This is not an extension. It is a rubber stamp for continued slaughter dressed up as diplomacy & signed off by a handpicked puppet president & his prime minister. Pathetic.

المشكلة أن أي تحالف دوليب لبنان، حتى لو بدأ اقتصادياً أو سياسياً، تاريخنا علّمنا أنه ينتهي بتدخلات وضغوط وعقوبات يدفع ثمنها الناس والدولة.وحتى بمنطقك، حزب الله مش شجرة بدك تجيب تحالف دولي ليشيلها. الموضوع أعقد بكتير ومرتبط بشريحة كبيرة من اللبنانيين وبواقع إقليمي كامل.إذا الهدف بناء دولة، فالحل يكون بحوار داخلي ومؤسسات قوية، لا باستدعاء الخارج ليقرر عن اللبنانيي.

@JJaber لو قرأتي يا عزيزتي عبارة ليس بالضرورة ان يخوض التحالف حربا كلاسيكية لما كان الخوف الذي عبرتي عنه ولتبين لك اني لا ادعو الى تحويل لبنان لساحة حرب! التحالف لمكافحة حزب الله له جوانب اقتصادية وادارية وقانونية وثقافية وقضائية وتنظيمية وغيرها من الجوانب التي لا تعني الحرب بالضرورة

لبنان بحاجة الى "تحالف دولي لمكافحة حزب الله" على غرار "التحالف الدولي لمكافحة تنظيم داعش" الذي تأسس بقرار دولي - عربي بعد سيطرة تنظيم الدولة الاسلامية على اجزاء من العراق وسوريا! ليس بالضرورة ان يخوض التحالف المطلوب حربا كلاسيكية ضد حزب الله،لكن المواجهة الجماعية باتت حاجة ملحة!

Lebanon isn’t run by Hezbollah alone. It’s a divided system where many parties share power, and the country’s problems come from long-term corruption, economic collapse, and regional conflict not one group. Lebanon was once known for being very vibrant and beautiful, especially Beirut, and it still has that spirit today despite the serious hardships people are going through.

On mental health yes, like many countries affected by war and internal stress, Israel has struggled with suicide rates and trauma issues, but that’s a broader human issue, not something tied to any one identity or used to justify blaming civilians. If we actually care about peace, the focus has to stay on protecting civilians and holding leadership accountable, not turning entire populations into targets of blame.

Reducing entire Arab societies to producing nothing intellectually is factually wrong and ignores centuries of contributions in mathematics, medicine, philosophy, architecture, and literature that shaped global knowledge. And bringing up Jews who left Arab countries as a way to insult Arab countries is a selective and inflammatory framing of a very complex history that involved multiple political events and populations across the region.

Self-defense doesn’t require mass civilian suffering, and protecting one group doesn’t justify erasing another’s basic right to life and safety.

I’m Lebanese and I’ve lived through Israeli aggression, so I don’t need a history lecture from afar. This isn’t about Ottoman-era percentages it’s about real, lived suffering in Lebanon and Palestine today. If you’re in Brazil, maybe be careful about explaining a reality you haven’t experienced firsthand.

@CamilaL93071317 @_A_khalifa Whatever argument you’re making about strategy or ratios, it doesn’t change the reality on the ground in places like Gaza and Lebanon where entire families, not statistics, end up under the rubble, and civilians who have nothing to do with the fighting still pay the price .

@CamilaL93071317 @_A_khalifa Peace talks failed on multiple sides and over core issues like borders, refugees, and sovereignty not just a simple they refused peace. And whatever your view of leadership, civilians don’t lose protection or become collectively responsible for political decisions.

@JJaber @_A_khalifa What occupation? Palestinians refused every peace agreement and never chose peace. Do you think so little of them that they shouldn’t suffer consequences for their actions? Don’t they have agency?

So by that logic, countries and identities only exist once colonizers approve the paperwork? There are maps, records, newspapers, passports, stamps, and an entire people called Palestinians long before 1964. Even the British Mandate was officially called Palestine. And if you want to talk history, the people living on that land for generations don’t suddenly disappear because someone decided to rewrite the narrative later. Occupation doesn’t become “ownership” just because you deny the existence of the people under it.
