Ukraine Update 🇺🇦 @jaglancy and I delivered humanitarian aid to the front-line areas in the southeast of Ukraine. One family we met was hit by a missile strike the very next day. Their son was killed, and their father died in the hospital yesterday. These are poor people who had very little to begin with. They couldn't evacuate due to a sick family member. After the strike, we took them some food and toys and promised to help however we could. I am raising money to help with (now two) funeral costs, medical bills for family members injured, and anything left will go to help rebuild their lives. Pictured is their daughter, Ludmilla. @jaglancy and I reached out through the Ukrainian chaplains and took toys for the children who survived, and food supplies to the family.
They have lost everything. They are a poor countryside family who lived on a smallholding. Their home took a direct drone strike. They need $5000 for funeral and medical costs (the father and main wage earner is now an amputee).
I am going to help them raise this money. Stand by for a GoFundMe when I get home, but please do drop in the replies and let me know if you think you will be able to donate a penny or two.

Waking up to heartbreaking news. We visited this village to deliver aid, two days ago. Last night, a Russian shell hit the village and two of the children we met were killed.
