I think they should take chromebooks out of classrooms entirely because they’re glorified tablets. Bring back having computer lab as a class so they know how to save documents to their computer and include typing lessons as well

boomer rant but first graders do not need to be taking tests on chrome books

Once again these only get asked to Black Americans Lmaooooo ask an average Haitian person what does exclusively claiming their ethnicity gets them, they’ll turn you into a pig by midnight
w.e.b dubiracial@mattdj00
what does insisting on an exclusively “black american” ethnicity get you? how does this particularization advance any goal of liberation? certainly we should celebrate black american culture, but let’s not pretend it happened in a bubble closed off from the rest of the diaspora

@highasfvckkkk @chronicgirliker This is the history I was taught growing up.
English

@chronicgirliker The word originated from colonial resistance in Kenya. Maumau warriors wore long free form locs because they didn't have their mothers or wives in the forests to plait their hair for them. Eventually, the locs became associated with the resistance because they dreaded them.
English

does anyone have the ability of giving me a genuine/reliable source that says the name was originated by white people calling our hair dreadful? because i’ve never seen one and yall are starting to rewrite history it seems
b0ngbunni! ᡣ𐭩@b0ngbunni
dni if you call locs 'dreads'. it is THAT serious
English

@TrulyAmFromMars @chronicgirliker My mother used to tell me not to use the term "dreads" in the 90s, with the sane explanation. This goes beyond 2020.
English

@chronicgirliker No this conversation started back in 2020 where this random 50 year-old lady with sister locks made a sound saying “Don’t call my locks dreads- because they’re not dreadful” and everyone ran with it for some reason
English

@Maga4liberty Did you really use this YEARS old photo of the "brick lady" to fabricate this story???? Something is truly wrong with yall.

That wasn't the point of the sit-ins. Black people were paying taxes for libraries, schools, grocery stores, and other facilities they weren't allowed to use. This wasn't to be in a space, it was to stop get equal access to what they're already paying for.
iza@izamamaa
I will never disrespect them. I just hate that we spent so much time fighting to be in spaces where we weren't wanted.
English

You can still bless people now. God will multiply what you give on his behalf. I'm a living witness.

@SeeRacists Stop traveling to and spending money in antiblack countries. It's really that simple.
English

@m4nesseh @SeeRacists That's a strange question... Where's your family from? 🤔
