Nigerians, please judge this case between consensus and direct primaries in the ADC. Atiku demanded a consensus arrangement, but Obi said no—he doesn’t believe in that and influenced others to reject it. Atiku later called for direct primaries, and again Obi said no, claiming he doesn’t have enough members to compete with others. Peter Obi want a free ticket, where he would be picked, and secondly be allowed to handpick Kwankwaso as his VP candidate. The ADC has certain rules and regulations. There’s no way you would be handed a free ticket and still be allowed to choose a VP by yourself—it’s not POssible.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

My dear brothers and sisters, Members of the Labour Party in the National Assembly, Since your inauguration as Distinguished, and Honorable members of the National Assembly, I have refrained from interfering in your legislative affairs out of respect for your independence and to allow you to focus on alleviating the suffering of the Nigerian people. However, at this critical juncture — following 26 years of a deteriorating democratic process marked by disregard for educational qualifications for electoral positions, massive rigging, and now the unconstitutional removal of elected officeholders — I find it necessary to address you. These unconstitutional actions have far-reaching negative implications for our democracy and the will of the people. I urge you to stand as true defenders of justice. Do not participate in or support any action, decision, or vote that compromises the integrity of our democracy, undermines the interests of the people of Rivers State, or contradicts our core values of fairness, equity, and transparency. We must not allow ourselves to become instruments of injustice or contribute to the betrayal of the people's mandate. At this moment, we must prioritize what is right over what is wrong or convenient, remaining steadfast in defending the well-being of the people of Rivers State. Together, let us stand firm in our resolve — because a new Nigeria is possible! -PO

Imagine Military men beating up somebody's wife in public. That's a shame to the military force & the public needs an apology. But let me clarify something. We Nigerians like to drag things without even knowing the full story. We need to understand that.. When a police convoy, Hospital emergency vehicles, government convoy, military convoy etc, joins the road, it is common sense to SLOW DOWN & give them space to pass! it is not in the Law but it is COMMON SENSE. Life's of Nigerians can be at stake while you're there trying to show equality & power on the road. MOVE TO THE SIDE AND ALLOW THEM TO GO!! it's Very simple!! It won't take more than 2mins. Some Nigerian drivers are just so difficult. Section 24 of the National Road Traffic Regulations in 2012 mandates all road users (drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians) to exercise care and attention while using the road. This includes giving way to emergency vehicles. ( this is a Regulations not a law) Most of you dragging THE MAJOR GENERAL FOR THIS ISSUE don't even know the full story. To the extent that baba had to come out of his vehicle, you should know that.. that man you're fighting for is NOT completely innocent!.

I always feel reluctant to talk about my failed marriage so that people won’t assume I’m still nursing any wound that wasn’t there. But for the sake of people who would learn from my past and to validate John Doe’s teaching, it’s worth sharing. When I found out my ex-wife was serious about leaving and had even rented an apartment nearby, I asked if she was sure, and she said yes. The following morning, a rusty old van showed up, and she moved most of her things in my presence while I was just having some playful moment with the kids. She tried to leave behind a few of the kids’ toys. I told her to take them along since the kids would need them.

Na man wey no dey fit provide fully for house, dey beg him wife to stay. I feed you. I cloth you. I house you. I pay the bills in the home. I feed my children and pay their bills. And you have the audacity to threaten me that you'll leave? God punish your mama. End.
