It’s time for story telling 😂😬 My adventure in electronics started with repairing consoles, and more recently with the NeoGeo AES platform, after receiving numerous requests from players whose hardware had broken down. I quickly came face to face with the limitations of SNK’s original design. The NeoGeo AES gaming community is particularly demanding and purist when it comes to image quality. I therefore soon felt the need to design an electronic module that would go further than the publicly known modifications already available, which greatly improve the console’s analog video output, while adding my personal touch and a professional finish. That’s when the EasyEDA Pro, LCSC, and especially JLCPCB ecosystem became a real game changer for me — and for everyone who has benefited from it indirectly. Thanks to these tools, it only took a few clicks for me to design my circuit, source the components, and send the project straight into production. The JLCPCB platform allowed me to go from a simple concept to a prototype, and then to a finished product, in record time and with impeccable, professional manufacturing quality. Once the project is sent to JLCPCB, everything becomes extremely simple: choosing the PCB color, thickness, surface finish, etc. No hassle at all! It’s even possible to panelize the boards in just a few clicks directly on the order page. And the cherry on top is that you can still modify the order (quantity, options, etc.) right up until actual production begins. The support is just as outstanding: available via chat and email, the team responds very quickly, even for last-minute changes. This has saved me more than once when I spotted a small error just before launch 😂 Today, thanks to JLCPCB, I can offer my Neopass module worldwide with great responsiveness. My customers and partners receive a finished, professional, and reliable product. JLCPCB is much more than just a PCB manufacturer to me: it’s the engine that allows me to keep my small online shop running (nic034.fr) and to share my passion with other retro gaming fans across the planet !
