The city has no more space in any of their houseless shelters so where will thousands of newly evicted people go? The census-based estimate says theres at least 1900 children being affected by this in our county too. Where will they go?

In nearby Kansas City, homelessness is now criminalized. This is what the loud anti-homeless elements in Lawrence are also calling for. As KC and Lawrence crack down on homeless people, we must be extra prepared to strongly advocate for our unhoused community members.
