On day 3 of Catholic Education Week we recognized Indigenous Education Day. We started the day with a beautiful liturgy led by staff & then continued the learning in classrooms. Our Grade 3's planted special strawberry plants in our garden as well. #CDSBEOIndigenous, #CDSBEOFaith

This 2022 #CDSBEOIndigenous Education Day supports our land-based theme by looking at Strawberry teachings and highlighting the berry’s importance to the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe people. Niawen ko:wa and Chi Miigwech to everyone who made this day possible! #CDSBEONurturing

We are asking all of our students to wear Green tomorrow as green is the official colour for Mental Health. We hope actions like this will help reduce the stigma around mental health.
