I just can’t catch my breath at how the ref has not spotted this in real time and especially VAR who will have 3/4 angles and slow mo. Come to the conclusion this is not endangering an opponent or serious foul play🤷🏻♂️

@alanshearer @donhutch4 Problem is that the officials are so inconsistent with use of VAR, it’s an absolute joke. Like you said and i agree the officials are getting worse as each season passes. Definitely top 6 bais as it would’ve been a red card all day long if that was a Burnley player.

@HACKETTREF Keith, arsenal do this every week and so do other teams, arsenal have scored a couple of goals from things like this, yet one goes against them and all of a sudden it shouldn’t be given. Where is the consistency?? As I don’t see it and that’s all everyone wants

@Rory_Talks_Ball I thought the rule was if both teams are grabbing and holding each other then no foul can be given which was the case today. Plus Trossard/Grabirl are holding Pablo as well.

I’m saying they would have looked at it and most likely given a pen and red card if the goal had been disallowed.

@jm_bell95 @SkySportsPL The inconsistency from the refs/rules is driving fans mad, arsenal scored one like that v Man Utd on the opening day, yet today it’s given. Also Trossard was holding Pablo to stop him from jumping, that wasn’t even looked at. That was evidence of top 6 bias.

@SkySportsPL You cannot impose the letter of the law in one instance but not the other. If the referee wants to disallow the goal after seeing it again that's his choice, but the failure to disallow it and not award West Ham a penalty for blatant fouling in the box is a disgrace.

@CorkRulez76787 @jimmymcbride1 😂😂😂. The pull back from jones on Sesko happened 1st and they definitely would have gone back to it if the goal had been disallowed and like I said it would have been given anywhere else on the pitch. If you can’t accept that then football ain’t for you.

They’d of gone back and looked at it. Just accept it. No doubt you say it would be a foul the other end though 👀

A handball goal gets disallowed 100% of the time.

@CorkRulez76787 @jimmymcbride1 Sesko did appeal and VAR would have looked at anyway even if he didn’t appeal. If the goal was disallowed then they’d have looked at the potential penalty end of!! Hope that helps.
