We created a custom type inspired by the unique shapes found in fungal networks. The letterforms were developed by looking at exploding contour shapes found in popcorn and using the surface of a variety of mushrooms to create relief textures.

@___CBS @AnnaSouter Herbert's exhibition 'Nutrient Market' explores myco-heterotrophy, a type of plant that has learnt to cheat the system. Instead of photosynthesising, it draws energy and nutrients from nearby plants via a shared mycorrhizal fungal network.
