@jlist The first VCR my family had in 1983 was a top loader but we didn't have it that long, we got a much better front loader in 1985. (My parents leased TVs and VCRs from Granada Canada in the 1980s so we usually got new equipment every two or three years.)

@AncientWarrior3 I liked the Atari 8-bit computers because they had a better Galaxian version than the Apple 2 one. Things like that were very important to me at the time.

@jlist In Scotland, it would air on Cartoon Network. I can't remember the exact air time, but I want to say it was like 4 or 5pm, as I used to rush home from school to watch it. I remember I had just started secondary school (high school) so would have been 11 years old at the time.

What do Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z mean to you? When the shows hit big, I was already here in Japan, running J-List, so I never got to watch the show as a fan. Although I did use the manga to study Japanese back in the day.
