This legislation has passed both houses (Senate and Assembly) 3 times. The Governor’s refusal to sign it into law is a clear indication that families impacted by forced separation’s in NYS, don’t matter to her and black children having a connection to their roots is meaningless.

Parents are completely tired of being frisked by the family police (ACS)-having their homes invaded, children stripped searched etc. @NYCCouncil - must act to protect our rights NOW!!
