should be noted that @JMFenwick is one of the GOATs at establishing rapport on video interviews and lots of other people in this country could learn a lot from her

these types of interviewees still do exist (cc @zanrowe, @zanelowe, @zachsang) but they’re all given the time and access to establish narrative - something your average online pub isn’t getting.

Thoughts? Personally love this take - I feel like there’s a lot of pressure to get artists to be as entertaining as possible on camera when it should be about the music and influence and their ethos - I’m sure there’s a balance somewhere
