openclaw: 500k lines, 27 config files, 60% of your time fixing it
nanoclaw: cleaner but containers box you in
wanted an agent on its own machine with its own accounts (github, vercel, gmail, tg, etc) that i could configure entirely through claude code and control via telegram
forked nanoclaw, stripped containers, added ralph loops + heartbeat + openclaw functionality
bare metal means oauth works natively, npm packages install directly, git commands just work, vercel deploys clean - no docker permission wrestling
agent pushes to its own github so i can pull work to my main machine. runs on a separate computer so if it gets compromised i wipe and reinstall in 10 minutes
the unlock: actual autonomy
send a voice note, it figures out what it needs. installs perplexity for research. finds the right mcp server. deploys interactive html to vercel. sends back a voice note, webpage, or overnight ralph loop results
not "i configured this workflow" - it's "the agent solved the problem however it wanted"
think openclaw but 4000 lines instead of 500k. one-shot dashboard you can configure from. works out the box
not for normies. you need to be comfortable with claude code and terminal. experimental but functional. claude code is so good now it fixes ghostclaw issues for you when they pop up
setup: mac mini, claude code in terminal, remote screen share from my macbook air. 10-15 minutes if you have an old computer lying around
public beta 0.5. new frontier shit here to help if anyone wants to try it out

The future of creativity is more uncertain than it has ever been.
We stand here today facing an existential threat to craft, authorship, intellectual property and culture.
We propose a solution:
- More informed use of AI for creative amplification and fan engagement
- Empower artists to become a part of the conversation
- Less one-size fits all AI applications
Artificial Narrow Intelligence removes the need for giant models that scrape IP and steal from creators. It's an approach that allows artists to amplify their craft using small datasets like their own work; remaining in control, refined and unique.
This process honours IP, gives value to fans, and protects the most important thing of all:
human creativity.
Join Taste in shaping the future for artists.

Taste attended @Screen_QLD's In the Frame to discuss creativity in the age of AI. We highlighted the importance of protecting IP before amplifying it with AI.
We have and always will have an artist first approach when it comes to using this technology.
Let's walk into this future side by side with the best interest of both the creator and the fan.

Artists are done being the invisible engine of AI.
This week, UK’s Technology Secretary, Liz Kendall publicly aligned with the creative sector. Declaring that artists “rightly want to get paid for the work that they do”.
• She pledged a “reset” of the debate between the creative sector and AI firms, emphasising that both need to thrive.
• She reiterated a long conversation that stems from a need for artists to know if their work has been used to train AI models.
• The creative industries at large have stressed the government must rebuild trust and act immediately.
Back in May, over 400 British artists; including Elton John, Dua Lipa and Paul McCartney signed a letter demanding transparency and rights when their work is used to train AI models.
At Taste, we believe that creators should be empowered by this technology rather than bypassed. This reflects one of our core pillars: Access. Not access as in mere consumption, but access as in authorship, co-creation and exposure to AI models.
When creators reclaim agency over their IP and utilize AI to amplify their offering… the possibilities are infinite.

What does it look like when artists teach AI to dream?
Meet CROSSLUCID, the Berlin-based duo using machine learning to explore the emotional side of technology. They build their own AI models with their own work & create surreal, living digital worlds.
@xCROSSLUCID is expanding their vision through intelligent tools. We had the honor of exhibiting alongside them at @204_ai last year!
This is art shaped by human intention, amplified by AI.
Big love legends, @xCROSSLUCID!

Is this the closest you can get to human and AI artistic collaboration?
Meet Sougwen Chung, the artist that co-creates with her own machine. She trains her AI models on her artistic archive, and creates art in a type of duet alongside her robotic arm.
@sougwen is proving to the world that the future of art is human-made and AI amplified.
This is an artist that showcases the power of art when it is enriched by technology.
Bravo, @sougwen!
