NEW: here is the relevant portion of the video released by the Louisville Metro PD this morning.
It shows Scottie turn into the lot and a police officer chase after the car and bang on the window. Scottie then stops the car immediately.
I cannot believe THIS is the footage the Mayor said would “speak for itself.” This might as well be a silent film.
This is what the LMPD believes is a felony assault on a police officer? What a joke.

@FLYXSCOPE @PHEN0MENAAL @lockedupjb Same teams.
If you mean different team as in the Spurs are playing better, the Knicks have the best point differential in NBA history over the last 11 games (regular season or playoffs), so I think that can be said for both

English

@lockedupjb Shit was from 23-24 season . Knicks FC are trying anything to convince themselves is not spurs in 5

I can confidently say I’ve never seen another human being look like this

Steve just ended my day. @HattricksTavern will be rocking tonight!

@adplacksports I still don’t understand how it could’ve taken that long to spit out of the tree
English

@Coach_Mackay_ I would understand the argument if they were loans but but they’re not. They don’t have to pay it back unless they sign a professional contract.
English

@JNucci23 Stab in the dark, but probably because they're preying on the young and poor.
English

Why exactly? If they never make it to the pros, they never have to pay it back.
Several athletes are on record saying the money helped them eat better, pay better trainers, and live in better housing.
All those things give them better odds at making it professionally.

These companies should be banned.

@SummersAndrew9 Yeah and none of those events feature the top 20-30 in the world
English

@JNucci23 Pro-golf starved South Africa? It has its own Men's 'Sunshine Tour' 30 events, 5 of which co-sanctioned with the DPWT, 4 of which co-sanctioned with the HPT. Also it's own Ladies 'Sunshine Tour' 9 events, 3 of which co-sanctioned with the LET. In total 39 Pro-golf tournaments.

Sportico is reporting that LIV’s pitch deck to investors proposes a 10-event international schedule.
LIV currently plays 4 events in the US. Reading between the lines, LIV’s plan could be to abandon the US entirely and focus purely on international markets.
They will sell a lot of tickets in pro-golf starved places like Adelaide and South Africa, but it will not help them with a media deal, which is where the bulk of revenue comes from in pro sports these days.
Also goes without saying, but dropping 4 events at $30M purses per event means there will be $120M less prize money for players. I assume dropping 4 events is a cost cutting measure, so it wouldn’t make sense to redistribute that $120M to other tournaments.
English

5 of LIV’s 7 premium sponsorship partners are also PIF-owned companies
• Aramco - Saudi oil company
• Maaden - Saudi mining company
• Riyadh Air - Saudi airline
• Roshn - Saudi real estate company
• Bahri - Saudi transportation company
If the PIF withdraw includes a rollback of these sponsorships, LIV has more work to do than just finding investors. They also have to replace ~70% of their premium sponsors.

@CarsleyGolf Sportico viewed the slide deck. Just because you don’t want something to be true doesn’t mean it isn’t.
You can’t even get your acronyms in the right order. MUS or MSU?

I’m saying that the total global sports media rights market is about $56–58 billion and US is approximately $27.5 billion of that.
So 50% of the global sports media market is in the US.
Sure they can partner with an entity like Sky Sports, but LIV is not the Premier League and is not in a position to command a huge media rights deal.
It could work if they drastically reduced their expenses by cutting tournaments and purse sizes.
English

@JNucci23 So you’re suggesting that only a US based broadcaster can/will pay LIV any real money? What about media outlets who broadcast soccer? Sorry, someone like Sky sports can come up with some significant dollars.
