@TheMetsX 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the delusion is off the charts. The Phillies didn’t need to “improve” to be better than the Mets. The Mets downgraded in the pen, their ace would be a 3 at best in Philly, and their lineup is maybe slightly better than Phillies but even that’s debatable

@JMR_Baseball @therealgonch @TheMetsX 1. 50/50 on if Bo leaves 2 lindor is still a top 5 ss in the league 3. Unless we get someone like tatis Soto is probably staying at outfield for another 5-7 years 4. Free agency is twice a year

@TheMetsX Middleton is a big spender too. So I don't think it's fair to say the Phillies window is closing and the Mets window is opening when they have multiple cy young caliber pitchers locked up and some interesting prospects (Painter, Crawford, Miller)

@therealgonch @TheMetsX How is the Mets window opening? If Bo has a good season he'll opt out. Semien declining, Soto will be a DH, Lindor is declining. You got some interesting youth but you cannot possibly say the window is opening

@CameronCrawf_ @JoshReynolds24 I saw someone say yesterday and that it sounds crazy but yesterday's outings could have real cy young implications and I think that's actually pretty true. Wheeler pretty much lost to sale the one year bc of one bad outing

Oneil Cruz misread a Brett Baty line drive to center field. His first step was in. That was a mistake. The ball went over his head and cleared the bases. The next pitch, Cruz lost the ball in the sun. The Mets have put up five runs on Paul Skenes and there's still only one out.
