A few lines from the poem The Messenger, published in the Writing Magazine Poetry Workshop in 2022. The snap of a twig rustling of leaves and there she was in the dusk light a shadow between the trees.

I'm back to writing.. and I'm starting with an article to send to The Countryman magazine about mum's childhood growing up on a dairy farm during the second World War. It starts with one of mum's favourite sayings " well of course my favorite cow was called Lightning"! ♥️

I've now sold over 50 copies of my debut 'nature themed' poetry collection. The poems are aimed at children and adults. I will be making donations to UK wildlife charities for every copy sold. My first donation was to the The Hare Preservation Society. Please share. Thank you.

What a lovely surprise i had, early the other morning, when i went out to top up the bird feeders.

I'm back and writing again. I started with something small, a reader's letter and poem to The Countryman, and i'm pleased to say they published it in this months magazine. Here it is...
