This is beautifully done: a paralog of EF-P involved in rescue of ribosome stalled at proline codons that is also sensitive to lysine acetylation. Nice figures too. I liked it!

Monday is another exciting day for me because I’m annoying @ScientistJenn by tagging along to #cryoEM data collection in York, plus catching up with @JNB_lab and @acartmell47. Maybe January isn’t so grim after all.

It’s been a busy but great week in the lab! New postdoc @jlreyre joined us from Marseille to work on TB cell wall hydrolases, and two undergrad project students Ella and Oscar have made a brilliant start (and some delicious smelling caramelised sugars😋). #glycotime
