Oh my gosh. This launch today! It may be a step toward the future, but it's also a time machine zipping me back to the old days. Watching launches on TVs rolled in on big racks in the school auditorium. Splashdowns. Tang! Songs. All the excitement and impact on everything... Woohoo!

Liftoff. The Artemis II mission launched from @NASAKennedy at 6:35pm ET (2235 UTC), propelling four astronauts on a journey around the Moon. Artemis II will pave the way for future Moon landings, as well as the next giant leap — astronauts on Mars.

I want to see *all* of DHS funded. It used to be that National Security meant something. It doesn't to Dems, who started the shutdown. This is on the Dem party.

I am sooooo done with the Dems. Am now an Independent. Too bad WA Dems won't know how many are leaving the party, since you don't register by party in this state. They keep thinking we'll always be there. Buh bye!

It's time to move on. The womens team made their choice. They'll have to live with it. If they're invited to the WH, they should go. We'll see if that happens. Country before the individual or current political climate...

I fully support the mens team. It was so nice to see patriotic, appreciative athletes celebrating the county & moment. They represented us well. It was really fun celebrating with them & seeing all the attention. The womens team overreacted and missed everything. Didn't support the country, IMO.

Every day, something occurs that make me glad I'm no longer a Dem. Can't run fast enough to distance myself from them. Teams shouldn't skip going to WH or wherever because they disagree with the current administration. It's about the country.

Honestly, I think it's time for a new rule for Olympians. You have to commit to going to the WH or something like the SOTU if you're lucky enough to win medals in your sport. Administrations come & go. National recognition & such need to supercede the current political climate.
