It's pretty wild that CD @chickenderbycom is here. Three years ago, us degen’s collectively funded an NFT project that was nothing more than a simple white page at the time named “Chicken Derby”. Looking back 3 years, it's staggering to realize that 98% of the projects launched during that period have either vanished or turned out to be scams. However, Apex managed to develop a system for us "degenerates" that runs incredibly smoothly, with great visuals of chickens with talents racing and destroying each along way. CD has experienced very few down time with no major bugs or issues. I remember the early days of Zed witch I was part of , and it was like navigating through a spider's web of bugs, errors, and community anger. Despite facing multiple changes in direction, CD has persevered and is alive. Along the way, we've unfortunately lost some great coops that where not ready to see what was past that change or turn on the road ahead. Chicken Derby is an NFT racing game with a great community of racers at its core, that have taken care of each other over the years. If another community member was taken advantage of or had hard times many tried to help them the best they could. Since our launch, other racing projects have discovered ways to enhance their project with an additional layer of Web 3.0 functionality. Some of us, as holders, have witnessed a web3 racing model that seamlessly integrated token systems which made since, have purpose, and reward back the the gamers that make all of this happen. Once CD’s token integration is complete which has been in developed over the last 5 months and is expected to begin private community beta in early April the game will truly begin to leverage the full potential of Web 3.0. Offering multitude layers to enhance the gaming experience for all that participant, whether a passive investors who’s stakes there chicken to receive $Bawk to which he can then be stakes against racing tracks for a share of the entry fees, to coop managers, or the most important member the die hard racers this next release has something for you. Despite the challenges, we've come this far, and I have a strong feeling that we'll continue to progress and witness further success unfold.
