My first job upon arriving in the UK from Lebanon was cleaning floors I would say good morning to colleagues & wouldn't recieve a response Today I'm an NHS psychiatrist in London & I said good morning to my colleague who cleans floors The huge smile on his face was priceless

I try not to think about my past experiences as a psychiatric in-patient. But the current lack of beds & state of in-patient psychiatry frightens me. I always said I never want to go back there, but thought I would be cared for if I had to. Now - I’m just afraid. Keep well.

@McIntoshNichole Completely agree with the 2nd test mainly from experience. I have built so much resilience now and not bothered by such communication anymore. One of the best qualities to have in my career. I wish I was able to do this sooner.
