This yam our in-law brought isn’t sweet at all; I have to call the groom to send me money for the one single yam they gave to my family side. 😑😑😑

I’m putting out this tweet for the record and to people I’m answerable to in one way or the other because they’re either customers or major supporters of the brand. I am not a controversial person hence the reason I am quick to take down a post that portrays me in such a way. Where some people have gotten the notion that I am, is quite disturbing. That post about the pay for staff was made in annoyance. I employed a driver who worked for barely 10 days and insisted that I must pay him for half a month after damaging my car. I believe this platform is for many things which include posting my thoughts as well as my business so I don’t understand why it’s a crime for a business person to do so. A lot of times, these things go through our minds but because we don’t post it and another person does, we change the narrative and make the person the villain. It’s been a trend where we bully vendors because we bring our businesses here. No matter the good we’ve done in the past, once one evil is perceived to have been done, every one comes gun blazing and starts running a propaganda on the person. This is the reason why I do not engage in anything controversial on this app neither do I engage in trending conversations because as usual, my point of view will be misconstrued. That being said, I take full responsibility for my post. I also categorically state, I treat my staff with love and care. This is the reason I have staff that have worked with me for 3 years and more. I did not intend to be condescending and I am never ever condescending to anybody. Please, do not take my posts out of context. Let’s leave it as surface conversations. It’s not that deep.

But, come to think of it. The cheapest movie ticket in Lagos is around ₦8,000. Do you guys (Cinema business management) realise that there are a lot of Nigerians who would rush to the cinemas to see these movies if they get to pay ₦5,000. If 100 Lagosians can afford ₦8,000. I bet you, more than 300 Lagosians can afford ₦5,000 to see a movie. Reduce the price and have more people, and have more profit. Am I making sense?

GROUP THERAPY IBADAN WAS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. 20 DJs. Two stages. Nonstop vibes. I spent the entire night jumping from set to set, looking for friends, dancing like my rent depended on it, and somehow ended up with 25,000 steps 😂 Ibadan people, y’all showed out. 10/10 experience. What was your favorite set of the night?

So, here’s the full gist and I just can’t wrap my head around how such a minor thing is breaking a marriage that’s barely 14 weeks old 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 The husband returned from work and was served dinner by the wife. After eating, he asked the woman to give him soap from the kitchen to wash his hands because it was an oily soup. Mind you, according to the story, the woman was in the kitchen doing something. The wife told him to get up and come take the soap himself and since the wife wouldn’t budge, the man eventually washed his hands like that and went inside the bedroom. Both of them went to bed without resolving the issue. Next morning, Oga told his wife to apologize for disrespecting him like that yesterday and the wife stood her ground and said she did nothing wrong to apologize for. So, they argued and eventually went to work. The husband came back later in the day, and changed the padlocks to the main house gate and returned back to the office. When the wife got back in the evening, she couldn’t access the house and Oga wasn’t taking his calls. The wife went to lodge herself in a hotel and slept there till the next morning. When she came back to the house in the morning, the husband said and I quote “Since you don’t see me fit enough to honor me as your husband, you have no place here anymore.” JUST LIKE THAT Cut long story short, bride price was returned yesterday. I don’t know who to blame amongst the two of them.

Unpopular opinion - People who disable read receipts don’t like to be held accountable. Sneaky people 😏

Hope it’s not the same Nigerian celebs that were crying on children’s day that are now glammed up for Ojude Oba? 🤨
