I heard someone use the phrase "overcoming borders" for the first time the other day, in the context of coming to the US w/o papers, & I thought it was really good & I wanted to share it so it's in more people's vocabulary.

Durham is really beautiful, sunny, and people here seem kind. The city is riddled with gentrification and its attendant problems tho.
